Lol-Ha Restaurant

This is the most elegant restaurant in Akumal. It has a wonderful mixture of Mexican and American food served indoor or on a porch on the sand. Entertainment occurs 3 nights a week.

Lol-Ha Snack Bar

Located on the main beach in Akumal. Great open-air bar with a wonderful view and a palapa roof. Good food with a broad selection of everything from hamburgers to seafood as well as Mexican and Yucatecan specialties. Happy hour daily from 5:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. Great for meeting other visitors and Akumal locals.

La Cueva del Pescador

Next to Turtle Bay Café in Akumal. Extensive Mexican and seafood specialties, including great ceviche.

Turtle Bay Café

Near basketball court and art gallery. Specialty is breakfasts with fresh baked breads, rolls, muffins, and omelets.

Short walk towards Half Moon Bay. Downstairs bar on sand. Upstairs has seafood and Mexican specialties for lunch and dinner.

Casa Cenote

Located 15 km. south of Akumal, follow the dirt road to the beach. The restaurant is open daily. Noon until dark, except Monday. Informal lunch and snorkeling in the cenote. Great Sunday BBQ buffet lunch.

On the road to Tulum. Mexican specialties for lunch and dinner in a beautiful outdoor setting. Playa del Carmen many restaurants on 5th Avenue shopping strip and around the city. Tulum also has many good restaurants both on the Coast road and in town on main highway.
